GUIDE TO AVAILABLE CLIMATE-RESISTANT TECHNOLOGIES AND PRACTICES
This Guide was developed under CAREC and World Bank project on Climate Change Adaptation and Mitigation in the Aral Sea Basin (CAMP4ASB). Its purpose is to provide expert information on technologies for adaptation to climate change in Central Asian countries for practical use by a wide range of stakeholders, including households and farms, expert communities and educators, non-governmental organizations and the private sector.

TRAININGS ON DISSEMINATION OF AVAILABLE CLIMATE-RESISTANT TECHNOLOGIES AT THE LOCAL LEVEL IN CENTRAL ASIA
In order to improve knowledge exchange and help local communities to adapt to climate change, the Regional Environmental Center for Central Asia (CAREC) within the framework of the World Bank project and the Executive Committee of the International Fund for Saving the Aral Sea “Program for Adaptation to Climate Change and Mitigation of Its Consequences in the Basin Aral Sea ”(CAMP4ASB), in cooperation with the Network of Experts for Sustainable Development of Central Asia (NESDCA), it is planned to conduct a series of practical trainings, at which, depending on local conditions and needs, classes will be held on the use of various technologies.

AVAILABLE TECHNOLOGIES FOR ADAPTING TO CLIMATE CHANGE
The project of the Central Asian Regional Environmental Center “Adaptation to Climate Change and Mitigation of Its Consequences in the Aral Sea Basin” (CAMP4ASB) within the framework of the dissemination of accessible technologies in Central Asia for adaptation to climate change at the local level in May-October of this year plans to conduct a series of educational trainings in Central Asian countries with theoretical and practical exercises.

Disseminating affordable climate-resilient technologies locally in Central Asia
The Central Asian Regional Environmental Center, within the framework of the implementation of the Climate Change Adaptation and Mitigation Program for the Aral Sea Basin (CAMP4ASB), plans in 2020 to increase the dissemination of climate-resilient technologies in the field of water and energy supply and food production in Central Asian countries at the local level.

National Workshop
“Action Plan for Achieving SDG 6.5 (IWRM) in Kazakhstan”

At the seminar with the participation of government agencies, experts, NGOs and international organizations, a Practical Action Plan for improving water resources management will be presented, which at the global level has been announced as one of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG 6.5).

SECOND CENTRAL ASIAN CONFERENCE ON CLIMATE CHANGE, TASHKENT, 02-04 APRIL 2019 ENDED
The conference participants, recognizing the need for global and national strategies for adaptation to climate change, also recommended that greater attention be paid to the introduction of accessible technologies at the local level.

In Arnasay village, in the Green technologies center of Akmola region, the next training on dissemination of available technologies for sustainable energy and water supply, organic food and sustainable housing was held on 7 December 2018.
The participants of the training - representatives of small and medium business, farmers and NGOs from neighbouring villages have discussed a best practices and green technologies.

The training workshop "Dissemination of best practices and available technologies" was held on October 26, 2018 in the training center "Ecofermer", Kemertogen village, Almaty region.
Participants: farmers and farms, cooperatives and associations, educational organizations and NGOs, ecosettlements, experts.

TELECONFERENCE BETWEEN CENTRAL ASIAN COUNTRIES
A teleconference was held on "Adaptation to climate change in local communities" on September 25, 2018. The event was organized jointly by the Civil Society Development Association (ARGO) and the World Bank. For the first time, representatives of all five Central Asian countries took part in this kind of teleconference. The event was broadcasted live from the World Bank offices in Almaty, Astana, Bishkek, Ashgabat, Dushanbe and Tashkent.

The Ministry of Environmental Protection, together with the Scientific and Educational Center "Green Academy" and the Network of Sustainable Development Experts of Central Asia (SECTUR), with the support of the Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP), held a training seminar on 20-21 June 2013 on the topic "The concept of the transition of the Republic of Kazakhstan to a" green "economy: priorities and mechanisms for effective implementation."
